Hazel has created two short stop-motion animations to date, which can be found on YouTube and have both received reasonable praise. She is currently working on a short stop-motion piece entitled Booktopus. She has worked as an intern for Hornet Inc. animation studios and Dancing Diablo studios, and has studied stop-motion animation at the School of Visual Arts with writer, animator, and musician Voltaire.
